Alex has dabbled in various art forms before deciding focus on film and television. She is a published page poet and an award winning performance poet. She is also an experienced editor due to both her role as Editor-in-Chief of worldwide literary magazine, 'Patchwork', and as Publications Executive for a branch of TEDTalk.

Alex's passion lies with all-things-screenwriting, but her speciality is comedy, which she currently studies at The National Film and Television School. She is in the process of completing her first comedy novel, 'Does My Rock Bottom Look Good in This?'. Alongside this (the writing malarky, not the bottom), Alex has a full-time job in marketing for London-based creative agencies.

She prides herself on being an excellent judge of character; most prominently demonstrated by avoiding Joel for three months following their first meeting due to the belief he was trying to romantically chase her. Joel is gay.

Joel started out as a prose writer, writing his first novel when he was 18, but got a flavour for writing for the screen at university. Now an award-winning screenwriter, Joel was elected Executive of BFT Film Productions 2018-19, conducting a programme of workshops for young writers. Joel has also Assistant Produced two theatre productions: Martin McDonagh's 'The Pillowman' at Warwick Arts Centre, and 'The Joy Show' at Storyhouse.

Joel is currently Creative Assistant at Wavemaker in Manchester. When he's not busy developing photography, video and design content at work, he's constantly developing new projects, including scripts for television series, sketches and animations. And when he's not doing that, he's hanging 'round a bus stop somewhere near you, waiting for Horny Honkers.
